  • Should I replace my electrical panel?

There are several factors that decide if your panel needs to be replaced with a new panel. Some factors include brands that are no longer covered by insurance, panels with corrosion and weathering, and panels that have been damaged due to overheating breakers or poor connections. Please reach out to us for a free quote/consultation if you are unsure if your panel needs replacement.

  • What is an automatic backup generator? Is an automatic backup generator better than a portable generator?

An automatic backup generator is a generator that will start on its own and automatically transfer you from utility power to generator power with no input from the customer. A portable generator hookup will require the customer to hook in their generator, start their generator, and transfer manually between utility and generator power. All customers have unique situations, and different systems may be a better fit for you. We would love to come out for a free estimate and to discuss your needs!

  • Should I rewire my home or have AlumiConn devices installed?

Every customer has different circumstances and budgets, although we recommend rewiring homes from aluminum to copper, we understand that AlumiConn may be more cost-effective for your project. We strongly encourage customers to reach out to their insurance provider to see if AlumiConn will be allowed under their coverage.

  • What are AlumiConn devices?

AlumiConns are special connectors installed on solid aluminum wiring to prevent aluminum from touching copper connections.
